For more than a decade, John has lived and worked in Nashville, Tennessee, home to Christian publishing giant LifeWay Christian Resources. John’s ongoing relationship and work with LifeWay has allowed him to develop a broad spectrum of products, from adult VBS dramas to series of long-form video for publication to DVD.
His most recent project for LifeWay Christian Resources has been My Story, with Lisa Whelchel, a 7-part published video series in which Lisa teaches other women how to creatively tell their life story through story-telling and scrapbooking. Featuring Lisa Whelchel, the former star of the popular 1980’s sitcom The Facts of Life, this is one of many series John has had the opportunity of producing for LifeWa.y. Others include Student FAITH, Por Fe (the Hispanic version of FAITH Evangelism), FAITH Evangelism-Next Generation, Confronting Life Issues Video Collection, Teaching Preschoolers and many others.
John’s work with long-form published video series is illustrative of both his lifelong love for dramatic production and a testament to his versatility as a producer. John’s abilities are not limited to one production format, genre or length. On the contrary, he thrives in and invites the variety of formats, genres and lengths.
